AB: Magnetic field measurements by Voyager 1 (V1) show that the Heliospheric Termination Shock(TS) was crossed or crossed over V1 on December 16, 2004 at 94.0 AU. Subsequently, V1 was in the Heliosheath from day 352, 2004 through at least day 125, 2005. The data acquired in the newly in-situ detected astrophysical plasma region, the Heliosheath, exhibit large amplitude variability and characteristics suggestive of the presence of significant mass loading due to pick-up ions. We analyze and compare the detailed characteristics of magnetic field fluctuations observed pre- and post-TS crossing. We compare them to magnetic field measurements obtained at the detached bow shock waves at Mars and comet Halley as observed by the Mars Global Surveyor and Giotto missions, respectively. .
