Simultaneous analysis of data from numerous sources requires the ability to quickly obtain an overview each dataset being
examined. We describe the initial version of two tools for multi-dataset browsing and visualization. The first, called
DataShop, enables basic plotting and visualization of the contents of any file in any of the common formats: CDF, HDF4, HDF5,
netCDF, and FITS. The intent of DataShop is to function as an intelligent file viewer, similar to the way modern image
viewing applications can open and display image files of any image format. The second tool, SP GIF Walk, is a browse tool for
quickly scanning through existing plots. All space physics missions provide high quality survey plots online, and SP GIF
Walk handles the tedious aspects of finding and stepping through each online repository. We will also discuss how these
browsing/analysis tools can be integrated into the emerging Virtual Observatory (VO) environment being developed in the space
physics community.
