AB: Lately, several spacecraft have simultaneously monitored solar wind and IMF conditions between the L1 point and Earth. Therefore, we aim to develop a solar wind model that will assimilate the observations with the 3D MHD solar wind model ENLIL in order to provide a more realistic description of solar wind/IMF properties at Earth. This contribution discusses results from perfect model experiments with simulated data. Such experiments provide insight into model's response to information contained in assimilated observations.
