A new simulation code is being developed for the simulation of auroral Alfven waves. This code uses energy conserving
reduced MHD equations which couple the Alfven and slow mode waves. The effects of the ponderomotive force, curvature, and
anisotropic pressure, are included. The code is written in generalized curvilinear coordinates, and the equations will be
solved in a meridional plane with dipole-like geometry. Results to date will be presented.
