TI: The density structure of the Ilan plain and its surrounding area in northeast Taiwan from gravity data

AB: In this study, we reprocess the gravity data surveyed by CPC in 1980s of the Ilan Plain and its surrounding area. For understanding more density structure distribution beneath the Ilan Plain, we reduce terrain effect and others effect caused by altitude and latitude around this area. After gravity data computation, the Bouguer anomaly map is constructed. This research choose two profiles (one is E-W; the other is N-S) to simulate the two-dimensional density structures beneath datum. Finally, we build the roughly three-dimensional density structure model by the geological information and tomography we collected and confirm this model using the three-dimensional forward calculation to be sure this model correct.
