Due to ion density in high atmosphere is abnormal prior to major earthquake, the satellite maps of jet stream between
troposphere top and stratosphere was the tool to make prediction for Magnitude lager than 6.5 Japan earthquake from
2004/10/01 to 2005/08/30. The 6.6M Niigata earthquake, 6.6M Fukuoka earthquake, 7.2M Miyagi earthquake have the same
phenomenon for jet stream change. By observation, prior to earthquakes take place, the uniform velocity streamline of jet
streams with height of 9.6km will suddenly disrupt or the anterior of jet stream stay at epicenter for a certain time. The
time range of prediction is within 30 days, magnitude scale is Magnitude lager than 5.5. Because the disrupting area is about
100km when the Magnitude lager than 6.5 major earthquake occur, the disrupting length will be considered. The results show
the prediction point approach the disrupting area. The time range will prolong to two months. The prediction web.
