AB: The Tropospheric Emission Spectrometer (TES) is a high-resolution infrared Fourier Transform spectrometer that operates in both limb and nadir viewing modes for the investigation of the physics and chemistry of the Earth's lower atmosphere. TES was launched into Sun-synchronous polar orbit on July 15 2004 from Vandenberg AFB in California. The talk will focus on early mission atmospheric results and intercomparisons with Aqua AIRS and ozonesondes.
