Extended deployment of a "turbulence" VADCP has revealed that the major sediment resuspension events at the LEO-15 coastal
observatory are associated with the occurrence of Langmuir supercells (LSC), Langmuir circulations that grow to fill the
entire water column. We will describe the three-dimensional flow field associated with LSC and explore conditions leading to
these events.
