AB: We present cases of transient coronal holes following a CME observed simultaneously by SOHO/EIT and the instruments at Mauna Loa Solar Observatory (MLSO). We describe the formation of the transient coronal holes and their relationship to the flare evolution, filament eruption, and CME taking advantage of the high 3-minute temporal cadence of the MLSO observations. We find that transient coronal holes in HeI 1083nm correspond well to the EUV ones, both spatially and temporally
