AB: TES observations of carbon monoxide and ozone were taken over Asia from July-August 2007 at both local and regional scales. We show elevated ozone and carbon monoxide concentrations in the lower troposphere that exceed 150 ppb near pollution centers. We examine the circulation of the elevated quantities and its relationship to local-regional interaction.
