The IERS has encouraged the development of rigorous combination techniques of the ITRF, EOPs, and ICRF in
recent years. These techniques use space geodetic data at the observation level, e.g. fundamental site
coordinates and velocities, and quasar coordinates and motion. The standard approach to combining such data
is the use of normal equations with minimal constraints and the rejection of outlier data, usually using an iterative
solution. We propose an alternative technique using Bayesian inference to estimate EOPs. This poster gives an
outline of the technique being developed and discusses the benefits of Bayesion inference in the handling of
constraints and outlier data using the prior probability distribution function. The poster concludes with some
preliminary results of EOPs using GPS and VLBI data.
