TI: Sensitivity of the CRCM Climate to Lateral Boundary Conditions.

AB: The Canadian Regional Climate Model (CRCM) has been used at Ouranos to generate climate simulations over North America using different experimental setups. The setups differ by the CRCM version used, the source used for the Lateral Boundary Conditions (LBC), the domain used for the simulations and the values used for different CRCM parameters. Regional Climate Models (RCMs) are often seen and used as tools to refine the large-scale information given by the LBC. In that use, it is usually assumed that the RCMs are essentially adding details to the large-scale contained in the LBC. In this study we examine this assumption by looking at the climate produced by CRCM simulations using different setups. Comparisons of the different simulated climates are presented.
