AB: Based on the observation of the Microwave Radiometer (MWR, WVR-1100) at Cheongju and Hapcheon in South Korea, the precipitable water vapor (PWV) and liquid water path (LWP) have been analyzed. Comparison of the PWVs measured by MWR at Cheongju and Hapcheon gives good agreement above the 0.9 of correlation coefficient with that of radiosonde at the two nearest sites (Osan and Gwangju), respectively. The PWVs show the seasonality, but do not the regional characteristics evidently. The LWP shows not only the seasonality but also regional difference. These regional characteristics seem come from the regional different solar radiation.
