Magma intrusions commonly affect the seismic pattern in volcanic areas. We propose a model describing the stress change due
to a magma intrusion represented by a tensile dislocation in a poro-elastic space. The presence of fluids in the porous
medium is taken into account. Their diffusion involves a time dependent stress tensor, in turn the variation in pore pressure causes an elastic deformation in the medium. In this way areas where the seismicity is favored by a magmatic intrusion can
change as a function of time. The results are compared with experimental data.
