Different visualization techniques were implemented in order to visualize coastal trapped waved in the Gulf of
Mexico. Model sea surface height anomalies data were filtered in order to enhance the high frequency variability
associated with coastal waves and filter low frequency anomalies, mainly associated with the Loop Current and
eddies. OpenGL interactive visualizations allow the user to zoom in any region of interest, stop, run or even run
back the animation and look from different angles.
