Summary

The Multi-SeaCam is a versatile camera designed to meet all your needs, whether for deep ROV or shallow diver applications. One housing and mounting system accepts two different video camera cartridges, either black & white or color. This enables you to standardize all your applications with one electrical and mechanical interface. Best of all, you can easily change camera cartridges in the field by removing a snap ring, allowing you to upgrade or repair in minutes.

Both housing types offer superior corrosion resistance. The ROV version is made from titanium, and is rated to 6,000 meters (20,000 feet). The diver version is made from black Delrin, and is rated to 300 meters (1,000 feet). A scratch-resistant sapphire port makes the Multi-SeaCam one of the toughest, most durable cameras in the underwater industry.

All camera versions come with DeepSea's acclaimed wide angle, fixed focus optics. Focusing as close as 10 centimeters (4 inches), the Multi-SeaCam is easy to operate.

Identification of camera features in the field is simplified by the use of a label under the sapphire port that indicates such features as model type, depth rating, video format, and pin-out. It's essentially a "manual on a label." Serial numbers are laser-engraved on the housing for inventory tracking.

For diver applications, the Multi-SeaCam can be mounted on a SuperLite 17 or 27 helmet using DeepSea's Universal Helmet Mounting Bracket. It also mounts to DeepSea's Universal Hand Grip for hand-held operation. Working in tandem with any of DeepSea's world-class underwater lights (such as the Multi-SeaLite or Mini-SeaLite), the Multi-SeaCam provides the optimal underwater video solution.
