Summary

The Pan/Tilt/Zoom-2001 is a multi-purpose color video camera for use in underwater imaging. The camera features a high resolution video camera with built-in pan, tilt, zoom, and focus functions that are all controlled remotely. The camera optics are corrected via a hemispherical optical glass dome port. Focus ranges from close-up to infinity. The camera electronics are reverse/over-voltage protected.

The versatility and good cost/performance ratio of the PTZ-2001 camera create many possibilities for its use. Possible applications include use on ROVs, tourist and research submersibles, tether management systems, dockside and shipboard security/inspection, and scientific marine studies.

Pan, tilt, zoom, and focus functions of the camera are controlled by switching the control lines either to 12VDC or 12Vret. A control box, with joystick control of pan and tilt and with center-off rocker switches for controlling zoom and focus, is available. Custom options, including Y/C video, available to meet your specific needs.
