Summary
For high quality imaging under difficult lighting conditions, the Super SeaCam
6500 is the camera of choice. Under normal lighting conditions, the camera functions
as a high-quality color camera. When scene illumination drops below the level
needed for normal color imaging, an infra-red cut filter is removed, extending
the camera's operational capability by allowing it to continue imaging as a monochrome
device. A Super HAD CCD imaging device delivers superior image quality for all
types of underwater inspection and is available in your choice of Titanium (6000m),
Aluminum (4000m) or Delrin™ (300m) pressure housings. The 18X autofocus zoom lens
focuses as close as 10mm. And to ensure razor sharp image quality, the glass dome
is polished to optical standards and treated with an anti-reflective coating.
