These options define the coastline file and resolution which will be plotted and/or saved to file.
Choose Coastline: Choose among several GEODAS Coastline Files which are presented. The coastlines are of varying base resolutions. The dialog will always start with the default coastline chosen by the software. The default coastline is chosen based on the size (in pixels) of your plot. Be aware that using a higher resolution coastline for a large area plot will result in longer plotting time and larger saved files. Also, using the NOS U.S. Shoreline in areas outside the US will simply result in no coastlines being plotted in those areas.
Choose Resolution: Choose the resolution for the coastline to be plotted and/or saved. The coastlines are of varying base resolutions, so choosing Medium Resolution in a hi-res coastline file such as NOS U.S. Coastlines will result in a higher resolution than choosing Medium Resolution in a low-res coastline file such as Hersey World Coastline. The dialog will always start with the default resolution chosen by the software. The default resolution is chosen based on the size (in pixels) of your plot. Be aware that using a higher resolution for a large area plot will result in longer plotting time and larger saved files.
