These options define your output grid file.
Output Grid Format:
Choose among several grid output formats:
GRD98 Binary Raster Format: This is the GEODAS Gridded Database Format GRD98 of the grid files
on the CD's. You will be asked if you wish to include the GRD98 Grid Header You may not want this
header, but if you plan to open this grid in Grid Translator (to reformat the grid)
or in Geodas Hydro-Plot, you will want to include the GRD98 Grid Header. For
format specifications see GEODAS GRD98 Grid Format.
ASCII Raster Format: This character based format will output one record per row, each record followed by a record delimiter (carriage return/line feed for PCs). The data values in each row will be separated by at least one space.
Delimited lon,lat,depth: Each grid value will be a separate record containing a lon, a lat and a depth, the records being terminated by a record delimiter (carriage return, line feed for PCs). The lat, lon and depth values are separated by field delimiters (see below).
Header Option: For GRD98 Binary Raster Format and ASCII Raster Format you can choose to include a Header (GRD98 Header or ArcInfo Header respectively). The Headers will have to be included in order to open the grid in application GEODAS Hydro-Plot.
Integer Byte Order:
For integer grids you may choose the byte order of the output grid file.
Choose LittleEndian byte order if you want to use the grid on a Windows or Linux PC, etc.
Choose BigEndian byte order if you want to use the grid on a SUN, Mac, etc.
Note: GEODAS application Hydro-Plot for MS Windows and Linux-x86 can work with both
LittleEndian and BigEndian swapped files, so you may use Hydro-Plot to preview any grids you create,
regardless of byte order.
Field Delimiter: For grid files of Delimited lon,lat,depth format only, choose space, tab or comma as the delimter to be inserted between the fields.
Data Coverage:
This option is only enabled for Coastal Relief Model gridded databases.
Choose to transfer All Cells, Sea Cells Only, or Land Cells Only. Determination
of sea vs. land is done using the data density grids on the CD. Un-transferred
cells will be replaced with the Empty Grid Cell Value.
