Running GEODAS on a Network/Hard Drive

GEODAS can be run on a Network by moving files to your Network space. This allows multiple users to access the data from their individual computers. GEODAS CD/DVDs can also be copied completely onto your hard drive and run from there. Files that can be run from your network/hard drive include Inventory Files, Coastlines Files, or the entire CD/DVD.

For Hard Drive or Network access to the entire GEODAS CD/DVD

1. Copy the entire CD/DVD to a folder on your hard drive or network. (Be sure to keep the folder structure exactly the same as the CD, and keep separate CD/DVDs under separate parent folders). Or mount (or copy) the GEODAS CD/DVD onto the Network.
2. Run GEODAS Setup, which will prompt you to locate the CD/DVD files.
3. Any CD/DVD files from earlier installs can also be easily located from within the GEODAS Applications.
