The Summary Listing lists the results of your Search, i.e. the data which satisfied your Search Criteria. You can view your Summary information in either Concise or Complete format. To view summary information as a concise format, from the Menu bar in the main GEODAS window, select Summary... Concise (by Source). This summarized the results by each Source or Project. To view a listing containing each and every survey choose Summary... Complete (by Survey). The Summary Listing window also can be used to close the active Search. Closing this window closes the Search.
In addition to the Search Criteria, the Summary Listing shows:
- Source or Project:
organization which collected the data, or for aeromagnetic
data, the project identifier.
- NGDC-Number:
NGDC Number for each survey (in Summary - Complete only)
- Survey ID:
Survey Identifier for each survey (in Summary - Complete only)
- Number of surveys found by Search, for various catagories.
- Nautical miles
of each parameter (navigation, bathymetry, magnetics, gravity,
seismics, sidescan sonar/seismic refraction)
- dig (recs, bath, mag or grav): number of records with digital
navigation, bathymetry, magnetics or gravity
- number of Megabytes
needed to store the data from the Search in the standard format
for the database.
