Stan E. Dosso received the B.Sc. degree in physics and mathematics and the M.Sc. degree in physics from the University of Victoria, Victoria BC, Canada, in 1982 and 1985, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in geophysics from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver BC, Canada, in 1990.
From 1990 to 1995, he worked as a Defence Scientist at the Defence Research Establishment Pacific, Victoria, BC. Since then, he has been an Assistant/Associate Professor and Junior Chair of Ocean Acoustics in the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of Victoria, where his research centers on inverse problems in ocean acoustics and geophysics.
Dr. Dosso is a member of the Canadian Acoustical Association, the Acoustical Society of America, and the American Geophysical Union.
