Maureen L. Yeremy received the B.Sc. degree in geophysics from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 1982 and the M.Sc. degree in oceanography and ocean acoustics from Royal Roads Military College, Victoria, BC, Canada, in 1995.
From 1981 to 1988, she was employed at the Space Science Lab, University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada. Since 1988, she has worked in the Ocean Physics Section at the Defence Research Establishment Pacific (DREP), Victoria, BC, Canada, and the Esquimalt Defence Research Detachment (EDRD), Victoria, BC, Canada, a division of the Defence Research Establishment Atlantic (DREA), where the main focus of her work has been matched-field processing. Her interests include signal analysis, underwater acoustics, estuarine circulation models, and matched-field analysis.
