David Rubenstein; Observations of cnoidal internal waves and their effect on acoustic propagation in shallow water, IEEE J. Oceanic Eng., vol. 24, pp. 346 - 357, July 1999.

David Rubenstein received the B.S. degree in physics and astronomy from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1975 and the Ph.D. degree in astro-geophysics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 1979.

Since 1979, he has been a Staff Member at Science Applications International Corporation, McClean, VA, where he is now a Senior Scientist in the Ocean Systems Group. His main research interests are in the areas of ocean internal waves, acoustic propagation, and acoustic scattering from the sea surface.
