F. J. Bugnon received the B.S. degree from I.N.S.A., Lyon, France, in 1982, the M.S. in 1983, and the Ph.D. in 1986 from Oregon State University.In 1986 and 1987 he worked for Crouzet GmbH in Düsseldorf, Germany. His research career led him to the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA, in 1983. to OSU in 1987, to I.I.A.S.A. in Austria in 1988, and the Center for Water Research at the University of Western Australia in Perth, in 1989. Since 1990, he has worked with Thomson Sintra ASM in Arcueil, France. His research interests include differential games, nonlinear signal processing, estimation theory, and sonar systems.
