Sandipa Malik received the B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from George Mason University, VA, in 1989, and the Master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia in 1991.She is presently a Research Assistant at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Her current research involves 3D reconstruction of ice from acoustic tomography data, the analysis of X-ray tomography data from rocks found near hydrothermal vent areas, and the processing and analysis of satellite imagery for physical oceanographic applications.
