Inge Spangelo received the Siv. Ing. degree (Diploma Engineer degree) in electric engineering from the University of Trondheim in April 1988.He was a Visiting Scientist at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, from September 1992 to March 1993. He is now a doctoral student at the Division of Engineering Cybernetics at the University of Trondheim, Norway. His main research interests include applied optimal control, optimization methods, control of mechanical systems, and marine vehicles.
