Roger W. Meredith received the B.S. degree in physics from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1978 and the M.S. degree in applied physics from Old Dominion University in 1980. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in the Scientific Computing Doctorate program at the University of Southern Mississippi.

He currently works for the Naval Research Laboratory in acoustical oceanography, signal processing, and high-frequency acoustics.
