Pier Giuseppe Mantica was born in Turin, Italy, in 1960. He received the degree (Laurea) in electronic engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin, Turin, Italy, in October 1984.

He is now working at the Polytechnic of Turin on the study of propagation and antenna problems.
