Ari Sihvola

Ari H. Sihvola (S'80) was born in Valkeala, Finland, on October 6, 1957. He received the degree of Diploma Engineer in 1981, and the degree of Licentiate of Technology in 1984, both in electrical engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology, Espoo, Finland.

He is now working at the Helsinki University of Technology as a teaching and research assistant. His fields of interest are electromagnetic field theory and remote sensing. He is the current Chairman of the IEEE Student Branch at the Helsinki University of Technology.
