Michael w. Little received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and the Sc.M. and Ph.D. degrees from Brown University, Providence, RI, in 1974 and 1976, respectively. He Joined the Submarine Signal Division of Raytheon Company, Portsmouth, RI, in 1976 and is currently a Section Manager. His technical activities have involved the application of mechanical engineering analysis t towed systems, underwater vehicles, sonar array design, and electronics packaging.
