Christian Bjerrum-Niese received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, Lyngby, Denmark, in 1994 and is presently a Ph.D. student at the same university.

Since 1994 he has worked at the Department of Industrial Acoustics at the Technical University of Denmark, Lyngby, as a Research and Teaching Assistant. His research interests include theoretical and numerical models of underwater acoustic propagation, as well as time varying features of acoustic propagation and surface scattering.
