Norman C. Lang received the combined honors B.Sc. degree in physics and mathematics from Glasgow University, Glasgow, Scotland, and the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA.After a year of postdoctoral research at Carleton University, Ottawa, Ont., Canada, he taught at the University of New Orleans, New Orleans, LA, where he earned the Master's degree in statistics and computer science. He joined Computer Sciences Corporation in 1984. He is now a Staff Scientist and is working on the National Data Buoy Center waves program.
