Heng Xiao received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer and system engineering from Xiamen University, Xiamen, Fujian, China, in 1982 and 1987, respectively, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Portland State University, Portland, OR, 1994.
Currently, he is a System Test Engineer at Atlas Telecom, Portland, OR. His current research interests include detection, estimation, multichannel signal processing, ISDN, SS7, and speech recognition in telecommunication system. In the past, he has performed theoretical analyses and simulation involving multipath fading channel for cellular communication system and array signal detection using state-space methods.
