Young Seog Kim (S'77-M'87) received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1980, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Seoul, in 1983 and 1987, respectively.Since September 1984 he has been teaching at the Department of Mechanical Design, Seoul National Politechnic University. His current research interests include adaptive control theory, the mathematical theory of optimal control, missile guidance and control, and digital system design and application.
Dr. Kim is a member of the Korea Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Korea Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
