Jin Wu received his high school and college educations in Taiwan, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanics and hydraulics from the University of Iowa, Iowa City.

He is currently H. Fletcher Brown Professor of Marine Studies and Civil Engineering and directs the Air-Sea Interaction Laboratory at the Graduate College of Marine Studies, University of Delaware, Lewes. He is a member of Academia Sinica, Republic of China.

Dr. Wu has published more than 160 articles in the areas of fluid dynamics and air-sea interaction.
