Mark L. Grabb (S'94) was born in Portsmouth, VA on February 25, 1964. He received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University, Rayleigh, in 1986, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, in 1988.
He worked for the Defense Communications Agency and the Sperry Corporation during the summers of 1984-1986. He worked for TASC, in Reston, VA, from 1988 to 1992 in the area of communications and signal processing. Since 1992, he has been working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His interests are in underwater acoustics signal processing and communications.
