Josette Paquin Fabre received the B.S. degree in physics from Millsaps College, Jackson, MS, in 1988 and the M.S. degree in applied physics from the University of New Orleans, New Orleans, LA, in 1997. She has also completed extensive coursework in meteorology and acoustics.
She is a Scientist at Neptune Sciences, Inc., Slidell, LA, where she works with Dr. James H. Wilson on his Inverse Beamforming (IBF) signal processing system and has published minimum detectable level (MDL) studies of IBF with Dr. Wilson. Her current areas of research include ambient noise due to surf and active acoustic signal processing.
