James W. Reese received the B.S. degree in physics from San Diego State College, San Diego, CA, in 1964 and the M.S. degree in physics from University of California at San Diego in 1967.
Presently, he is Projector Engineer at Applied Hydro-Acoustics Research, Inc., working in the field of applied ocean acoustics. Prior to this assignment, he was a Research Physicist at NCCOSC RDT&E division in San Diego where he worked on various ASW programs as technical consultant in areas of underwater acoustics and signal processing.
