G. A. N. Mbamalu received the M.A.Sc and the Ph.D. degrees from the Technical University of Nova Scotia 1985 and 1989, respectively, in electrical engineering.

He is currently a research associate at the Technical University of Nova Scotia, and a part-time teaching faculty member at St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His research interests are in power system stochastic optimization, parameter estimation, forecasting, and signal analysis.
