J. Mark Null received the B.S. degree in geophysics from the University of Texas, Austin, in 1987 and M.S. degree in meteorology and physical oceanography from the Naval Postgraduate School in 1995.
He is currently serving as the Meteorologic and Oceanographic (METOC) Officer on the Mine Countermeasures Command and Support Ship USS INCHON (MCS-12) homeported in Ingleside, TX. Previous duties included serving as a Geophysical Research Officer at the Naval Research Laboratory-Stennis Space Center, MS, and as a Hydrographic Survey Officer on USNS CHAUVENET (T-AGS 29).
