Michael P. Shevenell (S'78-M'83) received the B.S. degree in electrical and systems engineering in 1980 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering in 1983 from the University of New Hampshire, Durham.Since 1981 he has been a member of the research staff at the Marine Systems Engineering Laboratory (MSEL), University of New Hampshire. His tasks at MSEL have included image processing (bandwidth reduction and image enhancement), autonomous vehicle software development, error checking algorithms, and database systems. His interests include image processing, image understanding, computer graphics, and computer architecture.
