Kyoung Il Kim (S'84-M'86) received the B.S.E. and M.S.E. degrees in electronics engineering from the Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1977 and 1982, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1986.From 1977 to 1982 he was a Research Engineer at the Agency for Defense Development, Daejeon, Korea. In 1986 he joined the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he is currently an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering. His research interests are concerned with nonlinear system modeling, digital signal processing, and communication systems engineering.
