Bernard Faure received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 1973 from the University of Grenoble, France.
While pursuing the Ph.D. degree, he worked at CEPHAG in underwater acoustic signal processing. Since then, he has been working as a Research Engineer in LIS (CEPHGAG) where his main interest is in numerical signal procesing applied in underwater acoustic and oceanography. Recent inreset lies on modal propagation and high-frequency signal processing for the observation of small-scale processes in the ocean.
