Milica Stojanovic received the Dipl. Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Belgrade, Belgrade, Yugoslavia, in 1988, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA, in 1991 and 1993, respectively.

She has been a Post-Doctoral Scholar at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole, MA, where she is now a Guest Investigator. She has also been a Visiting Assistant Professor at Northeastern University. Her research interests include digital communications theory and adaptive signal processing, with related problems in mobile radio and underwater acoustic communications.
