Stephen H. Kaisler (S'74-M'76-SM'84) received the B.S. degree in physics and the M.S. degree in computer science both from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.

He is currently Program Manager in the Naval Technology Office of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. He manages the Navy Battle Management Program and is responsible for the Architecture Infrastructure Program, both of the Strategic Computing Program. He was previously Chief Computer Scientist for Analytics, Inc., McLean, VA. He is also an Associate Professorial Lecturer in Engineering at George Washington University, Washington, DC, and has published three books on operating systems, data bases, and Interlisp.
