Riccardo Borghi received the Laurea degree in electronic engineering in 1991 and the Ph.D. degree in applied electromagnetics in 1997 from "La Sapienza" University of Rome, Rome, Italy.

In 1997, he joined the Department of Electronic Engineering of University "Roma Tre." His main interests are laser beam propagation, diffractive optics, and scattering of electromagnetic and acoustic waves.
