Abderrahman Essebarr received the Ph.D. degree in signal processing from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, France, in 1992.

During 1993 to 1996, he held a post-doctoral research fellowship at CEPHAG laboratory under PARACOM-MAST contract, and he is now employed by Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products, Wemmel, Belgium. His research interests include array processing, speech coding, and signal communication.
