Andrew F. Peterson (S'82-S'83-M'83-M'85) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in 1982, 1983, and 1986, respectively.He is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois. During the summers of 1981 and 1982, he was employed by Motorola, Schaumburg, IL, where he worked with mobile communication systems. In 1982 he was awarded a U.S. Office of Naval Research graduate fellowship. His research interests center on computational methods for electromagnetic radiation and scattering problems, and include the development of direct and iterative techniques for both radar cross-section and bioengineering applications.
